My art practice informs how I see space, light and material. It is where I explore composition, balance, tension and restraint, principles that directly shape how I design homes.

The work is grounded in the built environment: architectural forms, urban patterns and the geometry of city planning. It is equally influenced by landscape, from the rhythms of the natural terrain to the ordered grids of agricultural land.

Through this process, I refine a sensitivity to proportion, layering and atmosphere — qualities that carry through into my residential work.

I usually use ink on paper and explore with pens of all different line weights, starting thin and light and gradually adding weight and contrast. My technique is greatly influenced by my design background, blending precision with intuition. But more recently I have been exploring different printmaking techniques, including drypoint, collograph, photopolymer and linocut.
