Greenwich, Sydney, Australia Project completed 2022Set within a tranquil harbour-front garden, the pool is carefully nestled among jacaranda trees. Half-sunken into the ground, it responds to existing deck levels and terrain, creating a seamless connection with the landscape.
The client wanted a compact plunge pool for daily aquatic exercise — small yet deep, thoughtfully positioned to respect the original proportions of the house and garden.
A lockable cover is integrated into the design, eliminating the need for a surrounding fence and allowing the pool to feel fully part of the landscape.
The dark green-blue mosaic tiles reference the colour of the Sydney Harbour directly beyond the property, while the coping is paired with the same stone tile wrapping the pool sides, creating a refined, crafted finish.
