A conceptual transformation of the Blackwattle Bay precinct into an activated food and sharing hub, designed to connect people across Sydney and foster communal participation.
Inspired by the sharing economy, the project explores how marketplaces can be reimagined to reduce waste, support peer-to-peer exchange, and address challenges in the current food system.
By rethinking the typology of the marketplace, the design proposes a dynamic, community-focused model that encourages collaboration, sustainability, and shared benefit, positioning the precinct as a new centre for civic life and food culture.
